What is konjac?
 

Konjac, also known as shirataki, konnyaku or Juruo(In Chinese), is a yam crop of the genus Amorphopha plus Blume in the family Araceae. Konjac originated in China and was cultivated and utilized more than 2,000 years ago. Nowadays, people in Japan also like Konjac food very much. They made many different Konjac dishes which is quite popular among customers.  Konjac is a nutrient-rich plant, which contains glucomannan and water-soluble dietary fiber with many health benefits. Raw Material Treatment

 

Clean the fresh konjac roots, remove the dirt and impurities on the surface and ensure the purity of the raw materials. Peel the konjac and cut into small pieces of appropriate size.

Dehydration Process

 

Boil the konjac slices until they are transparent and elastic, then quickly lower the temperature of the konjac slices to remove excess water.

Specific Processing of Shirataki Noodles

Stir the konjac flour and water until it becomes a paste and let it stand to gelatinize, then mix it with the ingredients to form a dough, and then make it into different shapes of Konjac pasta, and then soak, rinse and adjust the PH value accordingly.

Packing and Pasteurization

 

After packing the konjac noodles into inner bags, we do Pasteurization and metal detection.
