Why is konjac banned in some places?
Konjac, a magical ingredient derived from a plant of the family Amanita phalloides, though commendably rich in dietary fibre and a wide range of nutrients, has suffered the fate of being banned in some places. Behind this, there are actually multiple complex factors hidden.

Firstly, from a health point of view, although Konjac is beneficial to the human body, it can lead to a series of health problems if it is not handled properly or consumed in excess. Undercooked Konjac yams may carry toxins, which can cause serious damage to the human body if consumed directly. In addition, excessive intake of dietary fibre may also cause gastrointestinal discomfort or even more serious health problems. These potential hazards have led some places to choose to ban the consumption of konjac out of public health concerns.
Secondly, loopholes in market regulation are also one of the major reasons leading to the banning of Konjac. In some places, the quality and safety of Konjac products cannot be guaranteed due to the lack of an effective regulatory mechanism. In order to pursue profits, some unscrupulous businessmen may use inferior raw materials or add harmful substances, resulting in serious safety hazards of konjac products. In order to maintain market order and protect consumers' rights and interests, the Government has to take prohibitive measures

Lastly, differences in cultural practices and religious beliefs are also one of the factors leading to the banning of konjac. In some regions, people have specific taboos and prejudices against certain food due to historical, cultural or religious reasons. If Konjac is in conflict with local cultural practices or religious beliefs, then it is likely to become banned.
However, our konjac food production process is rigorous and delicate. Firstly, we use high quality purified konjac flour, which is coming from the Konjac plants we and our Konjac farmers planted together in Sichuan province, where professors often think the best place for Konjac to grow. And after pre-treatment steps such as cleaning and slicing, we enter the next step of processing. During processing, we use advanced technology and equipment to ensure that the nutrients of konjac food can be retained, while removing possible harmful substances. In addition, we pay special attention to the taste and flavour of konjac food, and through careful blending and cooking, we make konjac food both healthy and tasty. Such as our konjac angel hair noodles, Konjac spaghetti noodles and shirataki tagliatelle.
As we all know, Konjac has been consumed in China, Japan and some other Asian countries for thousands of years. It's quite mature in the market. Our Konjac food has also been exported to more than 30 countries and is liked by all of our customers.
